Sundin ninyo yung suggestion ko ha. Hard-bound books na lang ang bilhin ninyo. Baka naman di ninyo ma-afford? Ranging from 400-800 pesos excluding freight. Mahal pa sa English books pero siguradong matibay 'yan. Di ko lang sure kung talaga bang hi-quality yun ha. Pero, ipo-promote ko ang hard-bound book ni Crystal Orteza dito para naman magka-reprint na siya agad, kung true nga ba na sold-out na yung books niya lahat.
Heto lang ang drawback. Pre-ordered ang mga libro niya, bayaran mo muna bago mo makuha yung book. Tapos maghintay ka ng 1 month para gawin niya yung book using your money. So importante ang trust dito, but you are putting a bigger risk as a buyer of course. Paano kung may reklamo ang buyer tulad ng ginagawa ninyo, Raley, Xismylife. Papalitan din kaya yung books? Eh ang mamahal nun? Sana naman. Paki-tanong na lang si Crystal ha. Meron nga nagrereklamo na buyer ni Crystal. Bayad na daw yung order niya last June pa, dapat ay first week of July ay natanggap na niya yung book. August 1 na, di pa rin daw naipapadala sa kanya. Yan ang tinatawag na risk sa mga pre-ordered. Nasa nagbebenta yung advantage palagi. Maghintay ka kung kelan niya ipadala. saka wag ninyo bubuhusan ng coke yung books ni Crystal. Inkjet lang yata yun, baka malusaw ang ink.
Alam nyo, matagal ko naman inamin yan, paulit-ulit pa nga, na hindi pa namin na-master ang quality noong mga unang releases namin. But then again, iba na naman ngayon. I think we have gone a long way from those early beginnings. So, ganito na lang. Kung may reklamo, ibalik. Kung ayaw ninyo sa yari namin, sus madali lang yan. Stop buying LM books. oo nga naman, peeps. newsprint ang gamit ng LM for printing, the same paper that other legitimate publishing houses are using. let us be realistic naman of our expectations...afterall, hindi naman hardbound ang mga yan.
btw, nung accidentally e nabuhusan ko ng coke yung copy ko ng kit, hindi naman nag-disentegrate. partida pa yan dahil 2.5 ang acidity level ng soda. pinatuyo ko lang sa araw and it's good to go na uli. thank effing goodness dahil love ko ang story ni kit, which i think is eve's best work.
it's the story , not the paper that it was printed on that really mattered sa akin... kahit pa sa pambalot ng tinapa pa yan inemprenta, basta si eve montelibano ang nagsulat, bibilhin ko. cheerios! - 203.177.219.54

Kaw naman, dear, newsrpint lang yan, hindi plastic na makaka-survive ng nuclear radiation haha. Meron akong suggestion. Bumili ka ng hard-bound book Ni Crystal Orteza, yung bestselling writer ng Bookworms para magtagal ng 100 years yung book. I hope lang na pag di ka na-satisfy eh meron silang return policy tulad ng LM. Meron din kasing nagrereklamo na malabo ang printing ng books niya at gustong ibalik ng nakabili at papalitan ng ibang copy. Pero sabi nila, pag nabasa mo yung books niya, malamang na di ka na bibili ng LM. Super-ganda daw, sabi nila. Champion pa sa packaging, pang-sosyal daw talaga at pwedeng ihanay sa western books. Pagka-mahal-mahal nga lang. Maghanda ka na ng around P700- P1,000 para sa isang book with freight cost (yun ang sabi sa akin ng mga nakabili ha.) Pero kung hanap mo ay packaging that lasts for 2 generations eh yun ang dapat mong tangkilikin, ok? buy ka na dun, bilis!

you can check http://freewebs.com/perfectm/ for the latest releases, including where to buy books nearest you...either thru physical stores or online ones. i am sorry to hear you got a book with defective pages. di naman kasi maiiwasan sa production 'yan, dear. they print 5000 thousand copies per title. nevertheless, LM replaces books with defects,...just send the defective book back to LM mismo, which is nearer your area. taga-CDO ka ba? (it says in your IP kasi e) . i'm sure LM will make concessions for all the inconvenience. cheers. - 112.202.132.214

- @nadja: thnx 4 the info. i really appreciatd it. ung printing lng tlga kac prang nainis aq kac gusto kung ipreserve ung mga buks 4 my grndchldren and great grandchldren haha! pero at the moment na bbsahin q pa lng, ung pages natanggal na sa pagkakadikit. prang gusto q ulit ppalitan. hay! gnawa q, dinikit q na lng ng scotch tape.
